Secret Love, Part II

Ohhhh looks like I've decided to do a mini story with this one. Maybe like 2 more posts with this storyline and then I'm done. I keep getting these amazing ideas for some one-shots but I get sidetracked and forget to write them down. But trust, they are pretty great in my head. If I'm lucky you'll get to read them soon. lmao. Oh yeah thanks to the few people who commented. Y'all good people. Now back to the storynayeee.





The next week was filled with countless questions about the wedding. Nicki went through the motions but in her mind all she could think of was their plans.

Last week....

Nicki sat in her bedroom, trying to think of a way out of the upcoming marriage

 I wish I could just call off the wedding...things would be so much easier if I wasn't the princess...

In the middle of her thoughts, she heard a noise coming from near her window. She got off her bed and walked over to the window to see what it was. To her surprise, it was Safaree. 

He grinned at her and motioned for her to back up. He hopped through the window onto her bedroom floor.

"Miss me princess?" He asked.

She kissed him and smiled.

"Of course! But why are you here so early?" She questioned

He went over to the bed and sat down. 

"Come here I need to talk to you about something." He said, patting the spot beside him.

She sat down, nervous about what he needed to talk about. 

Safaree grabbed her hand and started playing with it.

"So...I've been thinking..." He started

"With the wedding coming up soon...I've been thinking of a way to solve our problem."

Nicki waited for him to finish, while silently freaking out in her mind. 

Omg...what if he doesn't want to be with me anymore? I mean it's a lot to handle watching your girlfriend get ready to marry someone else...I wouldn't blame him if he left me but...I don't know what I'd do without him....

"Nic, are you listening to me?" Safaree asked, cocking his head at her.

She had gotten so caught up in her worrying she hadn't paid attention to what he was saying. 

"Sorry I spaced out...what were you saying?"

Safaree shook his head at her and chuckled before he continued.

"You love me right?"

Nicki nodded her head "More than anything Faree, why?"

He took a deep breath and blurted out "Then run away with me. I know it's a lot to ask you to give up but we could finally be together, for real. I promise ill do everything in my power to give you what you deserve. Just come with me."

She stared at him, shocked that he was proposing the very thing she was too afraid to ask him. He took her reaction as a no, and started to get up.

"Never mind, it was a crazy idea anyway."  He said sadly.

Nicki grabbed his hands and pulled him back down to her.

"No Faree I was just surprised that you came up with this. It crossed my mind before, but I thought I was asking too much, asking you to leave your family behind." She admitted to him.

He looked into her eyes and smiled,

"You'd really run away with me? And leave all this?" 

She kissed him and replied, "As long as I'm with you, I know I'll be happy. I love you."

"I love you too, my little princess." He said as he kissed her back.

Present day...

Their plan was set and ready to be carried out. Safaree had some friends in a city nearby that would help them out. They were going to move to a small town, a town where nobody knew who Nicki really was. She was taking along only a couple things, along with some money to get them started. They decided to leave the night before the wedding, which was tomorrow. That would give them both a chance to spend a little more time with their families, who were unaware of their plans. 

I hope everything goes smoothly, Nicki thought as she packed her bag. She heard a knock on the door and hastily threw the bag underneath her bed.

"Come in." Nicki said, as she sat on the bed trying to look calm. 

It was her mother, Queen Carol.

"Onika baby, how are you feeling?" Her mother asked.

"I'm fine, what do you mean?" She wondered

The queen looked hard at her daughter and sighed. 

"I'm talking about the wedding." She said.

Nicki exhaled and replied, 

"Oh. I'm--uh--excited, really excited about it."

"Now child don't lie to me. I know you don't love that boy." Her mother stated.

Nicki panicked internally. 

No she can't know if she finds out all our planning will be ruined. They'll make me stay and marry Aubrey...no this can't be happening...

"I don't know what you're talking about, of course I love him.", she lied

The queen side eyed her daughter. 

"I know about you and Safaree, Onika. You're not as sneaky as you like to think."

Oh shit. Nicki thought.

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN. *cue dramatic music* might not post for like a week or whatever. Gonna be busy with work & shit. y'all care. &if ya don't....me either. Lol. But can we talk about the Carly Rae feature? Nic fucking slayed that shit. She mod cute. She tried us with that suprise shit tho. Moving all the damn suprises back...all love tho. K that's all bye.
